ISTA is the only world association focussing exclusively on issues linked to transports and the transported goods.

ISTA test programs provide a notable reduction of damages and costs and therefore improve client satisfaction.
ISTA procedures include two types of tests :

• Performance test : Success/Failure in order to determine the viability of the product and its packaging in transport conditions ;
• Development tests in order to compare the performances of two or more packaging, design or supplier solutions.

The ISTA test protocols are listed in several series. They gather various protocols, from comparative tests to environmental simulation tests of logistic circuits, based on real data collected during transport.
