Metropack operates the largest equipment fleet dedicated to packaging across 3,000 m², enabling the characterization of materials, packaging, and their transport suitability.
History
Founded in 2004 by Nicolas Krajka and Jérôme Pellot, two graduates of ESIReims (a packaging engineering school), Metropack has evolved over the years while maintaining its founding commitment to excellence.
Historically specializing in transport simulation, Metropack has since expanded into other areas of expertise, including material characterization, packaging approval, auditing, and consulting.
With a team of experts that has grown stronger over time, Metropack has an integrated Research & Development department.
A leader in packaging qualification, we have been innovating for 20 years in the heart of Reims.

Our ISO 9001, CSR, UN, AFNOR, and ISTA certifications are not mere formalities, but a reflection of our commitment to excellence.
Our commitment is also demonstrated through participation in ISTA and IAPRI congresses, as well as the involvement of our team members in key committees: the ISTA European Board and the ISTA Load Stability Workgroup. We have also joined the EUMOS committee (Home - EUMOS).
Metropack also holds the CIR / CII approval. The Research Tax Credit (CIR) and Innovation Tax Credit (CII) are major strategic tools for companies involved in R&D and/or innovation projects. For you, it's a real advantage!

- 2004 – Metropack founded
- 2009 – First ISTA Transport certification
- 2011 – First conference presented at IAPRI Berlin
- 2012 – Construction of our premises in Reims
- 2013 – First ISO 9001 accreditation and ASN certification
- 2018 – Development of new testing areas: +1,000 m² of additional space
- 2021 – Metropack awarded CSR label certification
- 2022 – ISO 17025 and ISTA Thermal accreditations
- 2025 – Completion of construction works for a total testing area of 3,000+ m²
