Storage is an integral part of the distribution circuit and the life cycle of the product and its packaging. To simulate these constraints in the laboratory we perform static stacking tests. These tests correspond to compression constraints with variables such as duration, stacking height, unit mass and total mass of the packs, palletising modes and atmospheric conditions.
The tests are used to assess the performance of a packaging according to the resistance or protection which it provides to its contents in stacking conditions.
